This 1966 instruction manual illustrates the operations required for the final assembly of the vehicle.

The manual is arranged in sections, production and option, corresponding as closely as practicable to the uniform parts classification (U.P.C.) groups to which the component parts and assemblies are assigned at the point of release. Certain sections have been sub-divided into areas of assembly which are determined by the physical location of the parts on the vehicle. These sub-sections are identified by a letter prefacing the sheet number (Sheet B2.00 for example). Refer to the general index for the production sections and sub-sections, and to the option index for all regular production options (R.P.O.) currently available.

A section contents sheet is provided at the beginning of each section, where warranted. Sections 11-13 are combined into a single section.

An option index of all regular production options (R.P.O.) currently available follows the production sections.

Options with items varying in assembly from regular production are illustrated. Items listed within illustrated options and installed the same as regular production are indicated by a symbol (see GENERAL INFORMATION SHEET). A chart number when available, will be used to indicate part differences due to color in an illustrated option.

An option in which all items are assembled the same as regular production or the same as a related option, are listed in the OPTION INDEX only and are cross referenced to a related installation where applicable.

Any option relating to tires or colors, released for CKD BLOOMFIELD, or furnished by FISHER BODY is listed in the OPTION INDEX only.

All optional springs & shock absorbers are listed in UPC 3, FRONT SUSPENSION & UPC 4, REAR SUSPENSION.
