Bob's 1969 Chevelle of the Month - August 2013
I have a 1969 Chevelle SS. Fathom Green (57) with Medium Green Buckets (785) with a Dark Green Vinyl Roof. All original matching (motor, trans, rear, carb, manifolds, wheels, antenna, etc.) numbers drivetrain. 396/325 with TH400 and 3.31:1 Positraction. Rotisserie frame off restored with 90 percent original parts and all NOS parts. 68,000 original documented miles. Rare color combo with over 20 (rare) options including AC. Just spoke with the 2nd owner (half hour conversation) who owned it from 1982-2008 and she verified that she purchased the Chevelle in 1982 in Billings, MT. with 65,851 miles. She stored the car from 1983 till 2008. She sold it in 2008 with 67K. The 3rd owner purchased it in 2008 and sold it to me this year and restored it to 98%. I finished the little odds and ends to make the Chevelle 100% perfection. The car runs and drives like new and wins at each show it attends, along with lots of attention. I really enjoy the car and its history! I have always wanted a 1969 Chevelle SS and I think I have found a special one.
