Interior Trim Codes

* The interior trim color code is a 3-digit number. Those not checked under Bucket are bench seat styling.
* Kansas City was the only 1968 assembly plant to continue to us -A- and -B- for bench and bucket seat designation. (One exception found is on a special paint SS396 w/parchment interior.) The -A- or -B- was NOT used by Kansas City with an alternate interior.
* Framingham uses a dash character ( - ) after the 3-digit interior trim code.
* There may be additional interior codes for Oshawa-built Chevelles as I have no source to reference.
* For some, as of yet, unknown reason Baltimore, Fremont, and Kansas City black (and black only) interiors got substituted various Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac interiors for both bench and bucket seats beginning the last week in March and continuing to at least the first week in June for Kansas City, last week of May for Fremont, and third week of July for Baltimore. To date none of these alternate interiors have been reported for Atlanta or Framingham. For the Malibu series, these alternate interiors were the same that would have come standard with the Concours option but these alternate interiors have been found in Malibus, 300 Deluxe coupes, SS396 models, and even El Caminos.  See here for more detailed analysis.
