The 1969 Z28 option was listed as RPO Z28 - Special Engine. SpoileRally Sport were optional on Z28s thru approximately April of 1969 but were included after that. Chambered exhaust (shown here) was initially standard on Z28s until November of 1968 due to noise complaints but were optional until they sere discontinued in May of 1969. Note the blue bow tie was replaced with Z/28 emblems in the grille and tailpan with the grille emblem being offset to the driver side since it was a flat emblem. Note the difference in the tail lamps on a 'standard' Z28 above and a Z28-optioned Camaro along with the Rally Sport package below. When the Z28 was NOT also optioned with the Rally Sport package, the grille is silver.

When both the Rally Sport and Z/28 options are combined, the Rally Sport features like hide-away headlamps, rear taillights, back-up lights, etc. are featured but badging of the Z/28 takes precedence over the Rally Sport badging. When the Z28 was optioned with the Rally Sport package, the grille is black.
