Mission Statement

It is ChevelleWorld's mission to bring you the most accurate and up-to-date information on 1964-1972 Chevelles in one, handy location Some data can be found on other websites, come correct and some not correct, but the data are concentrated here in one place for your convenience. If you have comments, questions, or suggestions, please use my contact page and let me know what's on your mind.

It is important to note that although Chevelles from two or three years may have similar body styles and may share some components, like 1964 and 1965, 1966 and 1967, 1968 and 1969, and 1970 through 1972, each year has it's own unique characteristics and what may be true for one year may NOT be true for another. Data contained on this website is the most current that is available. If you have additional or conflicting information contact me here with your concerns.

For additional and more detailed information on El Caminos and Sprints please visit my CaminoWorld website, and for 1953-1982 Corvettes, my CorvetteWorld website.

The Chevelle lineup is similar to the full size Chevrolet lineup in that there are several series and several body styles in each series each year. Where the full size Chevrolet has different series such as Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala, and Caprice for example, Chevelles have series such as 300, 300 Deluxe, and Malibu. Likewise, depending on the model year, a series may have several body style associated with that series such as sedan, coupe, sport coupe, or convertible.
