Chevrolet replaced the "Cross-Fire" fuel injection of 1982 and 1984 with a 'real' tuned-port system built by Bosch. This bumped the horsepower up from 205hp to 230hp and a fuel economy increase of about 11%.

Two new colors added for 1985: Medium Gray Metallic (code 16) and Silver/Gray (codes 13/16).

Gone from 1984 was one color, Bright Silver Metallic (code 16).

Lingenfelter-modified engine now displaces 420 cubic inches, equipped with Accel fuel injection, MSD ignition, tubular headers, and Lingenfelter-branded rocker arm covers.

VIN search disclaimer
