Caveat: Option quantities/prices vary from resource to resource. These quantities (and prices in most cases) were taken from year-specific 'Accumulative Production/Final Model Year Reports' from Chevrolet and 'Options And Accessories When Installed By Chevrolet' price sheets and do not normally include quantities/prices from GM of Canada unless otherwise noted.
It is important to note the items listed and the quantity represent the item individually when ordered as an option and not when they may have come as standard equipment or in a convenience or appearance group on certain models. All costs listed are 1966/67 dollars. Also note some options were priced differently dependent on other options ordered, model the option was ordered on, and depending on what GM literature you're reading. Some price lists are in even and half-dollars amounts. Prices shown in parentheses ( ) are from September 1, 1966 price list; others from original window stickers and/or dealer paperwork.

sold but only 25,287 as RPO L30 here leaving 102,400 327-2 base engines.
It should also be noted that 283 cubic inch engines used for export
are not listed here.
(3) Production totals blank on Chevrolet reports. Total number of 396
cubic inch engines reported is 5,141 which matches the total for L35
and L78 combined. No engine suffix codes are listed for the L34 engine.
(4) Although the number of RPO Z28 options is known (602), Chevrolet
did not report the 302 engine separately. Since all engines that Chevrolet
did report (base 230, L22 250, L30 327, L48 350, and L35/L78 396) matches
the total of Camaros produced, it is uncertain which of these optional
V-8 engine figures includes the 602 302 engines.
