1964-1966 vs. 1967 Clutch/Brake Pedal Assembly
Because so many people think 1964-1965 Chevelles and 1966-1967 Chevelles are pretty close in body styles and options, many things are different. Clutch and brake pedals are but one example. While 1964-1966 assemblies are the same, the 1967 model year is much different, primarily due to new safety features in 1967 over the previous years.
Note the difference in the clutch pedal offset and clutch return spring on the early 1964-1966 models.
The early clutch pedal assembly is GM group 0.832 and #3841214 while the 1967 unit is #3900527 and both are the same for any I6 or V8.
he 1968-1972 assemblies are the same with GM #3967783.
