Fake Build Sheets
The sequence number has been blocked for obvious reasons.
(1) The SCHED NO DATE is incorrect; date 04-03 is sched #20.
Sched #31 is 04-28. I would guess that 04-03 is correct since
body date on car is 04A.
(2) Fan pulley code CV incorrect.
(3) Wrong symbol used in V BELT GROOVE 3 (should not be - -)
(4) Wrong V BELT GROOVE 4 code
(5) No wheel color code (Atlanta did not use - -)
(6) Rear carpet code incorrect.
(7) Wheel covers code incorrect.
(8) Horsepower label incorrect for 1970 LS5.
(9) Engine tune label code incorrect for LS5.
(10) G70x15/B-2&2-BB-R/S tire is non-existent
(11) Options show A39 DLX SEAT BELTS but seat belt box shows S-BLK for
standard seat belts.
(12) Options show A85 DLX F/SHDR HAR but seat belt box shows S-BLK for
standard seat belts.
(13) Options show B22 DR EMBLEM SS but no SS454 sheets show this option,
only SS 396 sheets.
(14) Options show B80 ROOF DRIP MLD but Atlanta never used this code.
(15) Options show C24 RECESS W/S/W but Atlanta never used this code.
(16) Options show (P9I TIRE G70-15RS but P91 is a 1972 G70-14B G/ B
Red Stripe tire.
(17) Options show ZK8 TIRE PRESS LAB but Atlanta never used this code.
(18) ZQ9 PERF AXLE shown but GY2 331 RATIO is not the performance axle.
There are many more but that should be good enough for a start.
Here is the associated Fisher Body Number Plate. Note the fake did not get the body number (#39816) correct on the build sheet.
Another seriously flawed attempt - this one a Baltimore build sheet.
(1) The SCHED NO DATE is incorrect; date 05-28 is sched #83.
Sched #35 is 03-17.
(2) FRAME should be coded XV
(3) STEERING KNUCKLE should be coded DT
(4) STAB BAR is a 2-letter code, not 3
(5) CARB is a 4-letter code such as EH BH
(6) PROP SHAFT is a 2-letter code such as TG
(7) EXHAUST code is incorrect
(8) FAN CLUTCH code is incorrect
(9) ENG code not only not correct format but wrong code as well.
A 396/350 with 4-speed is coded TX 8, this shows TW which is a 396/350
with TH400
(10) TRANS code wrong format, should be WL4F
There are many more but that should be good enough for a start.
