The Super Sport option for 1963 is RPO Z03. Like the 1962 model year codes for the Impala SS were unique to the SS.

The Super Sport option added some dress-up items such as engine-turned exterior trim, SS badging, and SS wheel covers.  SS sport coupes were equipped with 7.00 x 14 tires and convertibles with 7.50 x 14 tires.
