The HHR was highly modified for the 2005 SEMA. It would have been nice to see a couple of these features carried over to production. Some photos courtesy of Velocity Journal.
Rear tailgate and side window treatment are 1955-1957 Nomad-like along with the slanted B-pillar. The nose looks more like a Traverse SUV than the HHR and while it is attractive, the final HHR design is better suited.
