1968 Malibu Convertible

It has a 1971 350 engine, bored .030 over. Crankshaft balanced by Smith Machine, Wichita, Ks. Speed Pro Flat Top Hypereutectic Pistons, Comp Xtreme Energy Retrofit Roller Cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifold, Edelbrock AVS2 Carburetor, & Headman HTC Coated Headers. Block & heads machine work done by Martin Machine, Wichita, Ks. Engine built by Mick Lafferty, Viola, Ks. Powerglide transmission & factory disc brakes. The interior is custom and was done in Branson, Mo. Stayfast top is maroon, installed by Downey’s Upholstery, Wichita, Ks. The hood is a VFN Stingray Yenko Style fiberglass show quality hood. It was painted by Cooter’s Body Work, Goddard, Ks. When new, the car was yellow with a black top and black interior. It was assembled in Kansas City. It had factory air that has been replaced with a Classic Auto Air system.
