Just a few of the errors on
fake build sheet:
Blocks 9/10 ~ 01-09 would indicate January 9 but last sequence number
for Baltimore reported by GM for January is 142435. Sequence number
listed (146934) is more in line with trim tag date of 02A, February
1st week.
Block 11 ~ convertible frame broadcast code "XV"
Block 24 ~ missing last 4-digit number
Block 27 ~ engine suffix code is followed by the number "8"
on Baltimore V8s
Block 28 ~ transmission broadcast code is 4 letters, not 2 on Baltimore
sheets
Block 44 ~ no stripe color listed even though ZL2 & D88 are shown
in block 107 and no notation of stripe delete
Block 44 ~ wheel color is never indicated with SS wheels
Block 71 ~ steering column cover is always black for either SS option
Block 107 ~Missing B80 ROOF DRIP MLD
Block 107 ~ no option listed has correct "*" or "#"
symbols
Wording of STATEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE BY CARRIER is incorrect; typical
of aftermarket fake build sheets.
There are more errors, omissions, etc. but this isn't a class on how to make a good fake build sheet, it's an example of a poorly made one.
