It's not known yet whether all Chevrolet plants produced the El Camino body style.
Sequence Number: All 1959 passenger cars (to include the El Camino) began with number 100001 at the individual plants and were sequenced regardless of the series. This means an El Camino could easily have been sequenced one number before an Impala convertible and one number after a Biscayne 4-door sedan.
