Removing the oil pan depends on the engine type and Chevrolet model.
Inline Engines - 6 cylinder
4. Disconnect steering idler arm bracket at right hand frame rail. Swing linkage down for pan clearance. 5. Remove front crossmember. On station wagon, let stabilizer bar hang while removing crossmember. 6. Remove oil pan bolts, drop the pan and clean off gaskets and end seals.
