Emission Systems - Transmission Controlled Spark 1971

The 1971 TCS system was altered to meet the more stringent emission control requirements for 1971 by adding, deleting or changing electrical andmechanical control devices. The system was remaned "Combustion Emission Control" (CEC).
Changes made include:

The CEC solenoid is controlled by the temperature switch, transmission switch, and the time-delay switch.
CEC solenoid energized by the Hot Override Circuit.
Solenoid activated by time-delay relay.
