* Only the Fremont, CA. and Van Nuys, CA. plants built their own El Camino bodies. The Euclid, OH. Fisher Body plant did supply bodies to Baltimore and Kansas City for final assembly at those plants. The Euclid, OH. bodies can be identified with the Fisher Body plant code of EP on the trim tag and the final assembly plant destination will be coded with the letter B under the body number for Baltimore or K either under the body number or K following the Fisher Body Style number. See the 1964 trivia page for examples.
1965
* The Fisher Body plant at Euclid, OH. continued to build El Camino bodies for several final assembly plants. Found so far are Euclid boy tags for Atlanta, Baltimore, and Kansas City. Fremont, CA. continued to build their own bodies. The Euclid, OH. bodies can be identified with the Fisher Body plant code of EUC on the trim tag. Oddly both Baltimore and Kansas City El Camino trim tags have also been found with BAL or KAN as the plant indicating these two plants also build their own bodies as well as having bodies built at the Euclid plant. See the 1965 trivia page for examples.
