Not all 138xx Chevelles were SS 396 series.

The 1967 Chevelle Concours wagon was not available in Marina Blue.

1967 was the first year for the Concous station wagon and was available with a V8 (13835) or I6 (13735) and was carried over to the 1968 model year with the same series designation.

The 1969 model year Concours wagon was series 13536 & 13636 I6 and V8 but, a new Concours Estate series was established with a 2-seat wagon series of 13836 and a 3-seat wagon series of 13846 and were only available with any V8 engine except the 396cid engine. The I6 engine was dropped from The Concours Estate series.

The 1970 model year had two Concours wagons, a 2-seat that could be ordered with any I6 or V8 but the 3-seat model was only available with any V8 except the 402cid engine and 454cid engine. The 1970 Concours Estate was available with a 2-seat version with VIN starting with 13836 and a 3-seat version with VIN starting with 13846; no I6 was available. The LS3 420cid engine could be ordered.

The 1971 and 1972 model years dropped any I6 engine, any V8 engine could be ordered except the 454cid engine.
