Intake manifold for Rochester 4GC type carburetor, 283/220hp engine.

Intake manifold for Holley, 327/275hp engine w/o Air Injection Reactor and accepts either the Carter or Holley carburetor.

Intake manifold for Rochester Quadra-Jet, 327/275hp engine w/Air Injection Reactor.

Intake manifold for Holley, 327/350hp introduced March, 1966.
 - casting #3890490/part #3893594

Three versions of this manifold have been found - all with casting #3890490 and all with differences on the bottom side. This intake was used on 1966 and 1967 Chevelles, Chevy IIs and Corvettes. Casting date is, unfortunately, located under the splash shield.

While not an integral part of the fuel system, the oil fill tube on the L79 was chrome in place of the standard black finish and carries part number 3889316 where the black finish unit carries part number 3881858 for the non closed positive ventilation system and 3889311 for the closed positive ventilation system.

396 V8 Engines

Intake manifold for Holley, 396/360hp engine

Some resources indicate this intake was also used on 396/325hp engines when equipped with a Holley carburetor although the Chevrolet parts book does NOT indicate this. But Holley carburetors were installed on some 396/325hp engines and the Chevrolet parts book does not show a service replacement for this combination.
