Chevelle Super Sport 396

All-vinyl interior with bench seat is available in seven colors for the SS396 series. Door panels have embossed vinyl, bright ornaments and black & bright horizontal accent bar. Flooring in deep-twist carpeting.

Optional "Strato-bucket" front seats are available in six colors on the SS396 and Malibu Sport Coupe and Convertible.

Chevelle Malibu

Cloth and vinyl seat trim for the Sport Coupe and Sedan includes side and center panels of textured vinyl, and cloth inserts carrying a miniature diamond pattern. The all-vinyl trim for the convertible and station wagon and the optional black vinyl trim for the Sport Coupe and Sport Sedan are similar to the SS396. Four interior colors are available for the pillar sedans & station wagons, five colors (including the optional black vinyl) is available on the Sport Coupe and Sport Sedan models, and six interiors are available on the Convertible.

Chevelle 300 Deluxe

Three colors are available for the sedan cloth and vinyl and the station wagon all-vinyl interiors. The embossed vinyl door panels feature a "300 Deluxe" emblem. Seat panels for sedans have grained vinyl top, center, and side panels with seat and backrest inserts of pattern cloth. On station wagons, the cloth inserts are replaced with a patterned vinyl. Flooring is vinyl coated rubber, keyed to the interior trim color.

Chevelle 300

Cloth and vinyl interior is available in three colors. Seats feature a pattern cloth, with solid color center side panels woven into the fabric. Front door armrests have color-keyed base and floor covering is black rubber.


Comparison between 1966 and 1967 seats. Note not only different pattern but 1967 incorporated release latches to fold the front seat forward; the 1966 model did not include this feature.
