RPO LS9 Engine

Chevrolet's LS9 engine features a 319-T7 aluminum block and fitted with cast iron cylinder sleeves with a 4.065" bore and 3.622" stroke resulting in 376 cubic inches of displacement. The LS9 is rated at 638HP @6500 RPM with 604 lb-ft of torque @ 3800 RPM. A 2.3L Roots-style supercharger can get credit for most of the horsepower of the LS9. An LS9 equipped ZR1 tested ran the quarter mile in 11.3 seconds and posts 0-60 MPH time of 3.4 seconds and 0-100 MPH in 7 seconds.

Although the LS9 was only used in one year of Corvette production, it remains as a 'crate engine' offered by GM in 'long-block' form meaning it's sold without the supercharger or front-end accessory drive system under (current) part #12624262 but no price is shown.
