The
Queen City Chevelle Club was established in 1984 for Chevelle owners
and enthusiasts. Our purpose is the preservation and enjoyment of
the Chevelle and El Camino models. Owners of original, restored
or modified 1964 – 1972 Chevelles and El Caminos are invited to
join and participate in all club activities.
Queen City Chevelle Club Meeting Minutes, May 3, 2025
- Meeting called to order by President Craig Garrett at 12:00 pm.
- Craig provided the Treasures report.
-Craig provided an update on the Kansas Regional September 5-6,
2025.
We expect to have information flyers shortly.
-Due to recent events a proposal was made to add the President and
Vice President
to the list of those authorized to access and sign checks on the
club bank account.
A motion by Bill Wiehe, seconded by Jim Proe to add Bryan Craig
Garrett and Randy Weimer to the bank account access along with current
Treasure Mike Moore.
President Garrett called for a vote on the motion and it unanimously
passed.
-We are in the process of reviewing information pertaining to the
Clubs non-profit
listing with the state. Craig is checking to make sure our status
is up to date.
-Discussed locations and dates for the 2026 Regional. We received
information from the OASIS hotel and Conference center indicating
the dates of July 30 to August 3 were available to host the Regional
in 2026. We are currently addressing multiple issues that suggest
we may not be able to get everything lined up by that date. As a
result, we reluctantly decided not to host the Regional in 2026
but to plan to do so in 2027.
-The next Meeting will be June 7, 2025, beginning noon at Steak &
Shake.
- There being no additional items, the meeting closed at 12:35 pm.
