Special Paint Showcase Submission Form Instructions
All data submitted is compiled for historical purposes only. Anyone with a documented special paint Chevelle/Camaro/Corvette/Nova is encouraged to submit the data requested on the contact form. No owner's name, address, or email account will be published. All personal data of this type will be kept in a database. Anyone requesting such contact data will have their request forwarded to the current registrant on file. If the registrant wishes to respond, it will be up to the registrant. This site will only pass along the request.
Either of the following is required in verifying and registering your Special Paint Chevy; just some kind of proof the car whose VIN you are registering was ordered with the specific color such as photo of trim tag, build sheet, etc. For 1964, 1965, and 1969 Chevelle model years with one of the Malibu SS/SS 396-specific colors, a photo of the trim tag will be very helpful. A photo of an RPO ZP3 spcial paint trim tag is also welcomed.
1964 Malibu SS-specific: Goldwood Yellow code K or 943
1965 Malibu SS-specific: Evening Orchid code P; Glacier Gray code W,
or Crocus Yellow code Y.
1969 Chevelle SS 396-specific: Hugger Orange code 72 or Daytona
Yellow code 76
Other: Any documented
special paint code regardless of year, make, or model.
1. Photo or scan or the original documentation (e.g., trim tag) showing
the ZP3 special paint code/color where applicable.
2. If you want a really nice photo in the gallery, photo should be a
digital "out-of-the-camera" image at your camera's highest resolution.
I will resize as necessary. The form has a file size limit of 5MB (5,000KB)
so if your image is larger than that, email it to the address below.
