[ 1974 ] - [ 1975 ] - [ 1976 ]
The 1975 Laguna Type S-3 was introduced in January of 1975 and featured a rakish, slanted, urethane-covered aero-style nose designed for NASCAR. The Colonnade designation was dropped for the Laguna Type S-3 for 1975. The vinyl top, swivel bucket seats with console, and 4-spoke sport steering wheel were no longer standard equipment on the Type S-3 in an effort to reduce the base price of the car. A Turbo Hydra-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission was the only transmission available as the manual 4-speed was eliminated as an option. Production for the 1975 Laguna Type S-3 was about half of what it was in 1974, only 7,788 were built.
