The 1960 Impala saw a few minor restyling changes. The wing shaped tailfins were toned down and flatened a bit. The tail lamps returned to a round unit and three on each side were featured on the Impala. Gone was the faux vent on the roof and upper grille vents.

Since the fuel injection was dropped for the 1960 model year, only the 348 engine could opt for the four-speed manual transmission.
