Box 10: SCHED NO. DATE
This schedule number and date format consists of a 2-digit number followed by a pair of 2-digit numbers separated by a hyphen character. The second pair of digits are the month and date of the month, November 17 in the example.  The schedule number is a bit more tricky. Beginning on the first day of 1970 Chevelle production at Baltimore this number was 01. Each scheduled workday increased this number by 1, meaning the second physical workday for the plant was 02, the third physical workday was 03, and so on. Non workdays (any weekend or holiday) was not included in this counter. When the counter reached 99 it would roll over to 01 for the next workday. In the example, November 17 was the 56th workday of this particular 01...99 workday cycle.

The code listed here will differ depending on the particular body style.

Box 12: STRG KNUCKLE
At least two codes have been found here.
DK ~ Used through 03-10
DT ~ Used from 03-11

Box 13: FRT SPRING
Two 2-letter codes are shown for left and right front springs.
Actual springs used were selected by computer based on the series, model, engine, and may even vary between two seemingly identically equipped Chevelles
AB AB ~ A single, late production year El Camino (07-07)
GB GB & GC GC ~ There does not seem to be a discernable pattern for one code over the other. Both are found on A/C and non A/C units, any engine/transmission combinations, ZL2 hood or not, and both sport coupe and convertible body styles.
GX GX & GY GY  - El Camino thrrough at least 04-06.

Box 14: REAR SPRING
Two 2-letter codes are shown for left and right rear springs. Actual springs used were selected by computer based on the series, model, engine, and may even vary between two seemingly identically equipped Chevelles.
BR BR ~  El Camino
DZ DZ ~ A single, late production year El Camino (07-07) (see AB AB front springs)
OO OO & OQ OQ ~ There does not seem to be a discernable pattern for one code over the other. Both are found on A/C and non A/C units, any engine/transmission combinations, ZL2 hood or not, and all both sport coupe and convertible body styles. Both have been found with both GB GB and GC GC front springs so a particular front spring does not automatically trigger a particular rear spring.
OO OO ~ has been noted on L34, & LS6 sport coupes and no A/C option.
OQ OQ ~ has been noted on all engine/transmission combinations, A/C and non A/C option, sport coupes & convertibles.

Box 15: FRT SHOCK

Box 19: PROP SHAFT
A 2-letter code depicting the paint colors of the stripes on the drive shaft. The particular sequence will depend on the engine and transmission type. Sport coupe & convertible unless otherwise noted.
DL ~ L34 w/manual transmission at least after 11-14
GO ~ LS5 & LS6 with M40 after 02-27
PB ~ LS6 with M40
PW ~ LS6 with M22 El Camino
TG ~ L34 w/manual transmission through at least 11-10
TJ ~ L34 with M40 El Camino
TK ~ L34 with M40

Box 20: EXHAUST
Either a 2-letter or 3-letter code depending on the engine, transmission, and body style. Sport coupe & convertible unless otherwise noted.
CAA ~ Sport coupe & convertible all beginning 12-09
CAB ~ El Camino beginning at least 02-02
CJ ~ Sport coupe & convertible up to 12-08
CT ~ One L34 sport coupe dated 01-12 and one L34 convertible dated 02-23

Box 21: FAN CLUTCH
Several designations have been found depending on the engine and whether equipped with A/C and date.

V GC ~ L34 & LS5 with air conditioning
V CV ~ L78
W AE ~ LS6 after at least 07-07
W CV ~ LS6 through at least 06-09

Box 22: FAN PULLEY
A 2-letter code for the fan pulley is printed here.

Box 23: VAC FITTINGS
A single letter code for the vacuum fitting on the intake manifold is printed here.

Box 24: DP SEQ NO.
A 6-digit, a 2-digit, and a 4-digit set of data processing numbers are printed here. These numbers have nothing to do with the assembly sequence found in the vehicle identification number and shows no apparent correlation to build date. The 6-digit number is found on the trim tag in lieu of the body number from block 8 as well as the 4-digit number is stamped below the paint code line.
