The Fisher Body Number Plate (commonly known as 'trim tag,' 'cowl tag,' 'firewall tag,' etc.) was affixed to the body by the Fisher Body division at Norwood.

- 57 57 PNT ~ Lower and upper body color Golden Brown. If a Camaro was ordered with the optional vinyl roof, the second number would change to a letter indicating the vinyl top color; for example 57 F would be Golden Brown with a tan vinyl roof cover.
