The Fisher Body Number Plate (commonly known as 'trim tag,' 'cowl tag,' 'firewall tag,' etc.) was affixed to the body by the Fisher Body division.

- TR 774 A51~ Interior trim code black vinyl w/blue cloth bucket seats
- 29 29 PNT ~ Lower and upper body color Midnight Blue. If a Camaro was ordered with the optional vinyl roof, the second number would change to a letter indicating the vinyl top color; for example 29 B would be Midnight Blue with a black vinyl roof cover.
