The series and engine type (base I6 vs. base V8) are the 12nd & 3rd numbers and the model (body style) are the last two numbers. The first number shown in the 'Produced' column is domestic production, the second number is export production, and the total production is the last number.  

The Series/Model columns correspond to VIN series & body style and not Fisher Body plate Style numbers.

Caveats:
(1) The total production according to the reported last VIN of each assembly plant totals 393,843 units leaving 10,120 U.S.-built Chevelles unaccounted for.
403,963 - 393,843 = 10,120
(2) Some Canadian production figure for 1967 are not known and those specific series/model are not included in the series/model figures for 1967. However, according to Vintage Vehicle Services documentation provided owners there were:
867 units produced for sale in Canada for series/model 13817.
5,803 units produced for sale in Canada for series/model 13617.
554 units produced for sale in Canada for series/model 13667.
(3) The highest VIN sequence reported so far for Oshawa is 111318.
(4) The term 'Produced for Sale in Canada' does not infer the unit was assembled in Canada.
(5) n/a indicates the series/model was not available with that engine type.
(6) Vintage Vehicle Services documentation indicates 106 13867 SS 396 convertibles were produced for sale in Canada.
