The series and engine type (base I6 vs. base V8) are the 12nd & 3rd numbers and the model (body style) are the last two numbers. The first number shown in the 'Produced' column is domestic production, the second number is export production, and the total production is the last number.

The Series/Model columns correspond to VIN series & body style and not Fisher Body plate Style numbers.

Caveats:
(1) The total production according to the reported last VIN of each assembly plant totals 522,761 and does not match figures above. The 503,352 figure here does include 15,356 units built in Canada for import.
(2) Subtracting the 503,352 figure from 522,761 VIN's leaves 19,409 units assumed to be for Canada consumption.
(3) n/a indicates the series/model was not available with that engine type.
(4) Neither convertibles nor station wagons were assembled at Atlanta or Framingham in 1969.

9,612 units of 13637 Malibu sport coupes were produced for sale in Canada according to Vintage Vehicle Services; 903 with RPO Z25 and 294 of those with the L34 396-cid engine. These are NOT reflected in the production numbers above.

10,828 units of 13637 Malibu sport coupes were produced for sale in the U.S. according to Vintage Vehicle Services;  769 of those were optioned with the L34 396-cid engine.

2,673 13427/13437 300 Deluxe coupes/sport coupes were produced for sale in Canada; 36 of these were optioned with the L35 396-cid engine. These are NOT reflected in the production numbers above.
