LEGEND:
Baltimore used a single color letter or each color and those don't always seem to be the letter of a known color. Some such as GO or PW can be logically assumed to be Green-Orange and Pink-White but others such as DL, DJ, or TG can only be guessed at and maybe assimilated with other plants with similar engine/transmission combinations.

⁽¹⁾ Out of the 23 L78 engine options I have data on for Kansas City with manual transmissions, three are M20 and 20 are M22 and there does not seem to be a reason for the prop shaft color changes. Three are OR-BL and shown with both the M20 and M21 while six are shown with BL-YE with both the M20 and M21. Both BL-YE and PK-OR are shown for sport coupes and convertibles.
