1965-1970 SS 396 Registry - Certificate of Registration
Until further notice: Effective Nov. 29, 2024, the Postal Service will temporarily suspend international mail acceptance to Canada due to the foreign postal operator indicating that they are unable to process or deliver international mail or services as a result of the ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.
You must have your SS 396 registered before you can order a Certificate of Registration, stickers, buttons, etc.
Any Certificate of Registration order submitted WITHOUT some form of paperwork showing (1) the VIN of the car AND (2) RPO Z25 (1969 and 1970) for Chevelles will not be registered. The 13817/37/67/80 VIN for 1966 through 1968 model years is sufficient to verify the Chevelle is an SS 396. Good documentation for 1969 and 1970 would include such things as an image of the ORIGINAL build sheet, ORIGINAL warranty card (Protect-O-Plate), GM Shipping Order, dealer invoice, etc. Applicable documentation for Camaros and Novas apply; they must show the 396/402 engine. DO NOT order a Certificate of Registration until your registration has been confirmed. Orders will not be processed until appropriate verification has been received.
