strength and weight uniformity. Fuel injectors were revised to better
cope with alcohol-blend fuels and to reduce fuel dripping after engine
shutdown. The engine cooling fan was modified for quieter operation.
The
front fender “gill” air vents were re-designed for the 1995 Corvette
and is one of the only distinguishing features between it and the 1994
model.

Copper Metallic and Black Rose Metallic.
The

Despite its similar appearance to the 1995 LT1 Corvette, the ZR-1 still
received unique doors and rear body panels to accept the 11-inch wide
rear wheels. The high mount center stop lamp for the 1994 ZR-1s continued
to be roof mounted.
The
LT5 Engines were assembled by Mercury Marine in Stillwater, Oklahoma,
and were then shipped to the Corvette plant in Bowling Green Kentucky
for ZR1 Corvette assembly and were returned to Mercury Marine for certain
repairs. Customers were given the choice of a replacement engine or
the return of their original engine if it could be repaired.
1995
marked the last year for the C4 ZR1 Corvette. Mercury Marine completed
all LT5 engines in November, 1993. Tooling, owned by GM, was removed
from Mercury Marine’s factory and all engines, specially sealed, were
shipped to Corvette’s Bowling Green assembly plant for storage until
needed. A total of ZR-1's was limited to 448 units, the same as 1993
and 1994.
