Body Broadcast Sheet
The Body Broadcast Sheet is one of numerous pieces of paperwork that accompanied a particular vehicle during the assembly process. It outlines the multitude of parts to be added during assembly and multiple copies of each document were usually supplied at the beginning of the assembly process. Normally all paperwork such as this would have been tossed into the trash when it no longer served its purpose along the assembly line but many times workers simply discarded the papers in various locations in the car and usually somewhere in the interior. Body Broadcast Copy sheets, along with Chassis Broadcast Copy sheets and other paperwork, have been found under a seat, behind the rear seat, in door panels, under carpets, on top of gas tanks, in the headliner...whatever the last worker using the sheet was working on at the time. It is a rare treat today to find one still in a car and goes a long way in identifying and documenting the vehicle.
