The 350cid, 300hp engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, removable body-color roof panel (coupe) or soft top (convertible), Delco stereo system with cassette, and leather seats were included in the base price.
RPO Z15 included Sebring Silver paint, 17 inch 5-spoke wheels painted
silver, black brake calipers with silver "Corvette" lettering,
special "Collector Edition" body emblems, P255/45ZR17 front
and P285/40ZR17 rear tires, and perforated seats with "Collector
Edition" embroidered on the head rest. Convertibles could
only be equipped with a black top. Interior color was limited to Torch
Red, Black, or Gray.
RPO Z16 included Admiral Blue Metallic paint with white stripe and red left-fender hash marks, 17 inch, 5-spoke aluminum wheels painted black, black brake calipers with silver "Corvette" lettering, P275/45ZR17 front and P315/35ZR17 rear tires (coupe only), rear wheel flares on the coupe, black floor mats, and perforated sport seats with "Grand Sport" embroidered on the head rest. RPO Z16 also included the 330hp LT4 engine and manual transmission. Interior choices were limited to all black or red/black combination. All grand Sport optioned Corvettes had a separate serial number sequence.
RPO Z51 included improved suspension that included Bilstein shocks, special front and rear springs, stabilizers and bushings, 17x9.5 wheels with P275/40ZR17 tires. When purchased with RPO Z16 the option include 17x11 rear wheels with P315/35ZR17 tires. Power seats, both driver and passenger, were required. Available with either manual or automatic transmission but when the automatic transmission was ordered, RPO G92 was also required.
