Kansas City Production Numbers - 1964

© Chevelle Facts Guide-ChevelleCD.net

* Assuming standard Monday through Friday work days and excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

The calculation is pretty straight forward.  Subtract the ending reported VIN from the starting VIN for a given month and divide that by the number of work days for that month and round any remainder down.

Disclaimer: The monthly production totals are those reported by GM. It is known in some years, some plants had shorter production runs in their first month and last month and may also have produced more Chevelles overall than reported. However, the above figures are based on what is published and generally accepted numbers. The figures assume a full month but with beginning and ending months this would, naturally, not be the case. It is also known there are 1964 Chevelles from Atlanta that were built in August but those numbers are rolled into September.

The figures calculated are NOT to be taken literally but are for general information only.
