Production Numbers - 1967

In 1967, the series are the 2nd and 3rd numbers of the Fisher Body style number and the model (body style) are the last two numbers. Fremont was the only U.S. assembly plant to match the Fisher Body style number series with either the L6 or V8 engine with an L6 having an odd 3rd digit and the V8 with an even 3rd digit. All other U.S. plants Fisher Body Number plants used an even 3rd digit regardless of engine type. The Series/Model columns correspond to VIN series & body style and not Fisher Body plate Style numbers.

Caveats:
(1) The total production according to the reported last VIN of each assembly plant totals 393,843 units leaving 10,120 U.S.-built Chevelles unaccounted for.

(2) Canadian production figure for 1967 is not known and those specific series/model are not included in the series/model figures for 1967. However, according to Vintage Vehicle Services documentation provided owners there were:
867 units produced for sale in Canada for series/model 13817.
5,803 units produced for sale in Canada for series/model 13617.
(3) The highest VIN sequence reported so far for Oshawa is 111318.
(4) The term 'Produced for Sale in Canada' does not infer the unit was assembled in Canada.
(5) n/a indicates the series/model was not available with that engine type.
