Wheel Covers - Hub Caps
Hub caps cover only the lug nuts, wheel covers cover the entire wheel. When optional wheel covers were ordered the wheels were painted black regardless of lower body color.
All 1967 Chevelles came
standard with hub caps when no optional wheel cover was ordered. The
wheel was painted the same color as the lower body color. The 1967 hub cap carries part #3890679.
Three optional wheel covers were offered on 1967 Chevelles under RPO P01, RPO P02,
and RPO N96. The P01 wheel cover was available as an option on any 1967
Chevelle and carries part #3890691. This wheel cover actually came
in three varieties depending on the particular series and model of
the car. All except the SS 396 and Concours wagon P01 wheel covers
have a bowtie and red/white/blue emblem in the center.
When ordered on an SS 396 series the center cap has an SS logo.
When ordered on a Concours station wagon, a crest occupied the
center cap.
The P02 (simulated wire) wheel cover was optional on all 1967
Chevelles, including the SS 396 series. This simulated wire wheel
cover carries part #3908761.
The
RPO N96 simulated mag wheel cover
carries part #3903086. Note the extra webbing support is gone that
appeared on the 1966 model year wheel cover.
Disc Brake Rally Wheels
When RPO J52 disc brakes were ordered a special wheel, trim ring, and cap were part of the disc brake option. These "rally wheels" were not available as an option in 1967.

The center cap for disc brake Rally wheels (part #3901712) is a one-year
only part.
